Melanie Potts

I fell in love with Pilates four years ago after taking my first class at Pilates by design. I resonated with how Pilates is a whole body practice and focuses on building, strengthening and maintaining the smaller stabilizing muscles that are so vital to everyday life. After going through two difficult years & changing careers my whole life has been reset. Not just a closing of a chapter in my life but a whole new book in the series of my life. The universe (Jeni) began calling out to me to become a Pilates instructor. And I said YES! I have found that hardest things in my life have also brought about some of the best things in my life. I love where I am at in my life right now. Pilates has played a huge part in that journey and I am so excited to take the next step and become an instructor. I am passionate about giving back & spreading the joy and healing I found in Pilates. The Pilates chair is my favorite to use in class. I love the diversity of movements it offers and how a whole body workout can be done on a Pilates chair. When I’m not teaching or taking a Pilates class I enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking, listening to audiobooks and hanging out with my three cats.
